As part of the Land & Sea Together program, grants were allocated to 10 amazing organizations across Rhode Island who are supporting historically marginalized farmers and foresters. These funds are intended to support programs and operations and create a direct positive impact.
Land and Sea Together was awarded a Local Agriculture and Seafood Act (LASA) Grant through the RI Department of Environmental Management, Division of Agriculture. Our 2023 grant will be used towards supporting farm transition and succession planning throughout Rhode Island. This includes working directly with farmers, both on land and in the water.
